Clinical Judgment Meets AI Governance
Judgment that AI cannot replace.
I help healthcare technology companies implement AI that clinicians trust and regulators accept by pairing a regulated-industry quality and compliance background with frontline clinical experience.

The operator that has been on the frontline
I spent the first part of my career inside one of the most heavily regulated environments there is, manufacturing of a Class III medical device at Johnson & Johnson, where a quality error isn't a bug ticket, it's a recall. I learned quality, compliance, and operational discipline where the stakes are absolute.
Then I became a clinician. As a physical therapist, I spent years on the frontline of care treating patients, building clinical pathways, and later helping a high-growth digital health company scale its clinical quality systems and stand up some of its earliest AI-assisted workflows.
That combination is unusual. I've sat on both sides of the table: the regulated operator who knows what compliance actually requires, and the clinician who knows whether a tool will survive contact with real patients and real workflows. Healthcare AI lives or dies in the gap between those two worlds. I work in that gap.
Today, through CJM Strategic Consulting, I help healthcare technology companies implement AI responsibly by bringing governance frameworks, quality systems, and regulatory strategy together with the clinical judgment that tells you which decisions matter. More importantly, I don’t slow you down while doing it.

I believe innovation belongs inside complex, regulated environments - not in spite of them. The hard problems in healthcare AI aren't solved by better technology alone; they're solved by intentional human-AI teaming, honest assessment, and systems thinking that holds clinical, regulatory, and operational reality in view at once.
That's the work.
How I Help
Most healthcare AI fails not on the technology, but on the governance, the compliance, and the clinical reality around it. I work across all three without slowing you down.
AI Governance & Implementation
Put AI into clinical workflows without breaking trust or compliance.
I build the evaluation, monitoring and governance frameworks grounded in NIST AI Risk Management framework and built to stay sound as the regulatory landscape shifts.
Data Driven Quality and Compliance Systems
Build a quality system according to your stage, drive scalability through strong foundations.
I design and build quality assurance from the ground up that catches problems early, builds audit readiness, and creates a foundation reliable enough to build AI on top of. I bring statistical rigor, audit readiness and LEAN Six Sigma discipline drawn from regulated medical-device manufacturing and high-growth digital health.
Regulatory Strategy to drive Operational and Commercial Opportunity
Know what’s permissible and possible before you build it.
I examine the emerging regulatory (CMS Innovation Center (CMMI), FDA) positioning, build HIPAA programs for Business Associates and Covered Entities, and analyze market-entry strategy for navigating payment and regulatory pathways so that regulation becomes a map of what’s possible, not just a list of what’s not.
